Rosemarie was born in Newark, NJ on June 19, 1929. She was a devoted Catholic and was planning to enter the Convent to become a nun, but the Lord had other plans for her. She met and married her beloved husband, Albert. They built a home together in Colonia, NJ, and enjoyed a happy life there raising their daughter, Ruth, before moving to Manchester, NJ to be closer to Ruth and her family.
Rosemarie was happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, and her passion was cooking for a crowd! She especially enjoyed the Christmas holidays and will be forever remembered for her wonderful Italian Christmas Eve feasts and many other family traditions. Her cooking was her gift and making meals brought her so much joy!
Her motto in life was “to do as much good as you can for as long as you can,” and she applied that to all beings that touched her life. She was passionate about caring for all animals, especially those in need, and if she could have, she would have saved them all!
Rosemarie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert; her sister and best friend, Aida DeFilippis; her son-in-law David Bobrowicz Sr.; and her great-grandson, Gabriel Ruzzo.
She is survived by her loving family and friends. Her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Mike Sullivan; her granddaughter Jackie Ruzzo and her husband Rob of Coventry, CT; her grandson David Bobrowicz and his wife Melanie from Barnegat, NJ; her step-grandchildren Kerri Sullivan and Michael and Davina Sullivan from Albuquerque, NM; her great-grandchildren Bryan, Katie, Leah, Emma, Oliver, Michael, Connor; her nephew Scott DeFilippis and his wife MaryAnne of Cape Coral, FL as well as the many friends whose lives she has touched over the years.
