Salvatore Petriello, Sr., 93, of the Cedar Glen Lakes section of Manchester Twp., passed away on Thursday, October 22 at home surrounded by family. He was a Purple Heart awarded combat Veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army. He was an Expediter for Singer Kearfot, later Lockheed Martin for many years. Born in Newark, he resided in Oakridge before moving to Cedar Glen Lakes. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anna nee Nicodemo, and his children; Paula, Jean, Salvatore, Jr., & Richard. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. Funeral Services will be offered on Thursday October 29 at 11am from the Funeral Home. Committal to include Military Honors will follow at the Brig Gen Wm C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
