Theodore "Ted" Hawthorne 57, passed away Friday August 31 at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. Ted was born in Mt. Vernon, NY. and lived in Hazlet and Whiting before moving to Toms River about 10 years ago. He owned and operated Ted's Electronic's in Keyport for many years.
Ted is survivied by his wife Tywana, his mother Marjorie Hornfeck, his sister Laura, and his three brothers James, David, and Mark. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
There will be a cemetery chapel service for Ted on Friday, September 7th at the Holmdel Cemetery, in Holmdel, NJ. at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to; The Muscular Dystrophy Association in Tinton Falls, NJ. The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. is handling the funeral arrangements.
