Alvin Dale Browning

“Dale” was born July 18, 1941 to Alvin Leon and Dora Marie Browning in Deer Creek, Texas. He was a firefighter for the Wichita Falls Fire Department for 12 years and was a mainline operator for PPG Industries where he retired. Dale was a hardworking, loving, and kindhearted father to his four children and many grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was playing golf with his son Dwayne and his many friends at the golf course.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Doris Browning; and parents, Alvin “Pod” and Marie Browning.

Survivors include: children, Deneice Moore and husband, Doug of Wichita Falls, TX; Penney Lindsey and husband, Ronnie of Grandfield, OK; Dwayne Browning and wife, Kathy of Wichita Falls, TX; Jennifer Moorhouse and husband, Jack of Henrietta, TX. Siblings include, Jerry and Judy Browning, Donna Davis, and Sammy and Stacy Browning all of which live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Grandchildren, Kelly, Kiy, Matt, Blake, Josh, Jordan, Leo, Lance, Gage, and 15 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Friday, December 18, 2015 at Hampton Vaughan.
