Audrey Hankins Bridges, 88, of Wichita Falls, passed from this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Heritage Assembly of God. A visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Monday at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park. Audrey was born on September 22, 1929, in Olney, Texas to Cliff and Margaret Ollie Vaught Stevens. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and later for ATT and was a member of Telephone Pioneers Association for Operators. She was a member of Heritage Assembly of God and was formerly a member of Southside Assembly of God. She loved being a seamstress, quilter, cook, baker, and just anything she could do for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Eldridge Hankins in 1980 and Odis Bridges in 2007; 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include her children: Cindy Hankins Parker of Wichita Falls, Susan Hankins Shackelford and husband Kevin of Lake Arrowhead, and Jonathan Hankins and wife Terri of Wichita Falls; step-children: Charles Bridges of Alaska, Steve Bridges of Abilene, Kay Gann of Louisiana, Mary Bost of Wichita Falls, and Marty Felan of St. Martin; brother: Jack Stevens and wife Jackie of Kamay; sisters-in-law: Flossie Stevens and Elsie Hankins; grandchildren: Josh Parker and wife Haley, Jamie Proctor Parker and husband Matt, Corey Parker and wife Stephanie, Noel Shackelford, Alyssa Shackelford, Britney Sims, Garrett Hankins; 6 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family; and her best friend, her chihuahua, Sugar Baby.
