Baby Summerlin, 57, of Bedford, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday October 6, 2025 with family by her side.
April’s hobbies were listening to music, watching soap operas, bingo, dancing and working on puzzles, April attended Special Education School in Wichita Falls up to the age of 18 and also participated in the Special Olympics for many years.
April is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Gloria Contreras. She is survived by sister Mimi Contreras fiancé Eric Logan of Watauga,TX , sister Juanita Contreras and lifelong friend Danny Garcia of Irving, TX. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
April was known for her love, laughter and joy. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to all of the staff members at Kindful Health Hospice, La Dora Nursing and Rehab and HEB Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls TX 76302.
