Billie Jean was born to Frank and Irene Stewart on October 1, 1937 in Loraine, Tx. Where they were cotton farmers. Together they had 3 children. Billie Jean went to the University of Texas Tech earning a degree in Home Economics with a minor in Child Development. It was there she met her husband Doug. For the next 69 years they lived in Carlsbad NM, Hobbs NM, Green River WY, and Wichita Falls TX. While in Green River, Billie was teacher of the year for the state of Wyoming. Billie touched the lives of those around her with her wit and charm. She taught Sunday School at Faith Baptist Church for many years. Billie was a child of God who took every opportunity to witness, genuinely caring that everyone know and accept Jesus Christ in their heart. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Billie was an amazing cook but when sharing the recipe there seemed to be an ingredient or two missing, it never tasted as good! She was a wicked bridge player and trickster when playing games. Billie loved a good joke.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Douglas, her brother, James Stewart, and wife Inez.
Billie is survived by David and his wife Kathy of Riverton, Wyoming, Marian Williams and her husband Jim of Colorado Springs, Co, and Bruce Parker and wife Cindy of Wichita Falls, seven grandchildren Kim Masson and husband Bruno, Shelly Brantz and husband Kyle, John Williams and wife Rebecca, Charity Cloud and husband Josh, Joseph Williams and wife Beth, Stephanie Probandt and husband Eric, Taylor Sandoval and husband Adam.
