

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 59 years, James; her son James Coleman and wife Laura of Boonville, Missouri, daughters; Angela Skelton and husband Mark of Burkburnett, Texas and Cristal Weruk and husband Eddie of Justin, Texas, grandchildren; Amber Brax, Heather Wahlstrom, Rebekah Taylor and Romeo, Krista Coleman, Justin Coleman and Inhwa, Malachi Skelton, Mason Coleman-Lopez, Mancy Chote and Ryan, and Micah Weruk, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Mark B Hatfield, mom, Mary L Hatfield, brother, Johnny Hatfield, and sister, Lanelle Hatfield.
Bonnie was born on November 18, 1946, in Clarendon, Texas. She married the love of her life James on August 1, 1966, and traveled with him and their family through his 26 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Bonnie made every move and new station special. Her steadfast faith and devotion to Jesus Christ was evident wherever she was. She sacrificially served at local churches in children's ministries, church library, and when overseas, served with Japanese Missionary Groups. She used her talents all for God's glory. She was a mighty prayer warrior and encouraged and loved people. She genuinely cared for those around her and never knew a stranger. She saw people through the eyes of Jesus with agape love.
Visitation will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, US, on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Iron Infusion Crew at Texas Oncology Wichita Falls and the trauma crew at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, for their compassionate care and tenderness in her final moments in ICU especially her nurses, Consuelo and Holly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Faith Refuge, Wichita Falls, Texas - A charity that was dear to Bonnie's heart.
