

A graveside service for Bryant will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas.
He was born in Mexia, Texas on October 17, 1930 to Jane Duncan Rowland and William Hugh Rowland. Bryant's mother Jane went to be with the Lord when he was a young child of just 6 years old and his brother Duncan was 9. A loving aunt Florence Duncan took them both in and raised them on a farm near Shelbyville, Texas. From the moment she took them in she loved them and forever called them "Her Boys".
In 1949 Bryant joined the US Marine Corps as a very young man, he continued to serve for over 10 years, seeing combat in the republic of Korea conflict. Bryant enlisted in the US Air Force, after leaving the US Marine Corp service. He served another 10 years, seeing combat in countries as Vietnam. Upon retiring from the military in 1971 he went onto pursue a career in aviation. After retiring from his corporate aviation career, he continued to pursue his love of flying until recently due to his failing health. He owned an award winning aircraft he built himself. He passed along his passion of flying to his son. Gary, at the age of 16 was the first student of many that he taught to fly. His legacy will live on through his family. He will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane Duncan Rowland, father, William Hugh Rowland, Honorary mother Aunt, Florence Duncan and sister, Mary Lou Rowland Green.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rowland, brother, Duncan Rowland and wife Shirley, sister, Dinah Rowland Border , Children, Gary Rowland, Terry Rowland Johnson and husband Jackie, Pam Rowland Harton and husband Kenn, Marsha Ricks and James Ricks and wife Debbie. As well as 11 grandchildren, Tammy, Brian, Jason, Steve, Corwin, Cody, Angela, Amy, Aliece, Tanner and Blake, 10 great grandchildren, Madison, Zander, Avery, Austin, Kaylan, Riley, MyKenzie, Gavin, Ava Grayce and Maddox and 3 great great grandchildren, Jase, Micah and Lily.
