Sue Dean of Wichita Falls went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday November 23, 2015 after a brave battle with lung cancer. She was born on November 17, 1943 to Hollis and Ellen Holden in Wichita Falls. She lived in El Paso, Fort Worth, and Killeen, Texas before returning to Wichita Falls in 1963. Sue was a kind and loving woman completely devoted to her children, raising them alone.
She worked at Luby’s cafeteria for over 40 years where she made many friends. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Ms. Dean was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Gonzales, son James Dean and wife Lori, granddaughters Jennifer Dean and Contessa Gonzales, sisters Lynn Tunnell and Norma Parks all of Wichita Falls.
A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, November 30th, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, December 1st, at Hampton Vaughan.
