Steve my heart goes out to you and your family. Carolyn was a very special person who loved life and her family. You were truly the love of her life. I say that because her eyes always would light up when you came into a room. May God Bless you and your family.

Carolyn left a lasting impression on me when I met her. I was 19 and had just started a new job as a Unit Clerk on 8c at Bethania, and she was a graduate nurse. She was so friendly and encouraging, and quite honestly is probably the reason I didn't quit after my first weekend. I loved her kind spirit and the way she treated her patients. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My first meeting with Carolyn was when she first came to work @ Bethania hospital on the 7th floor we were both L.V.N.'s & the first & most lasting thing that has forever stayed with me, was her unique "Smile" & her outgoing personality & the compassion in her eyes that she gave to the patients.
We instantly became friends that day as this was a part of her she had a way of becoming friends with people (she never met a stranger). If you met Carolyn once you were a friend from then on, she just had that unique personality.
I ran into her about a year ago & its unfortunate I have not seen her since, but once again she welcomed me with that "Smile" & friendliness & that will remain my last memory of her.
As, I read about her death the first thing I thought about was her "Smile" & her friendly personality.
I will keep Steve, children & rest of her family in prayers for God to give each one of you strength, guidance, to get you through this difficult time as well as the future days to come.
Loved you Carolyn & your "Smile" & friendly personality will forever remain in my heart.
