Chandler Shea Floyd, born October 6, 1994, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was an incredible daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt, whose presence brought love, and light to everyone who knew her.
Chandler inspired all who knew her by her unwavering faith, strength, and courage.
Chandler loved spending time with her family (especially her nieces), traveling, journaling, reading and music. Fearless at heart, Chandler lived more life in her short years than most ever will.
After graduating high school, Chandler moved to Wichita Falls with her sister, where they attended college. She later moved to Pensacola, Florida with her mom and sister where she loved spending time on the beach with her family. Soon after, Chandler received the call that would change her life—she landed her dream job as an international private airline flight attendant which required her to move to Houston. She traveled the world, experiencing countless countries and cultures and embracing every moment along the way.
After several years of traveling Chandler decided to return to Wichita Falls, to complete the radiology program at MSU.
While nearing graduation, with only clinicals remaining, Chandler faced her third round of chemotherapy and was sadly unable to complete the program. Through every step of her journey, she remained steadfast in her faith. She continued to praise God through every high and low, leaving behind a legacy of strength, grace, and unwavering belief. Her impact reached far beyond what words can capture—she inspired many to turn to God, and even those who had never prayed before found themselves praying for her.
Chandler’s hopes and dreams were always bigger than this world, and perhaps that is why God called her home sooner than most.
She will be remembered always for her adventurous spirit, her calming presence, and the deep, unconditional love she gave so freely. She was without question, one of the most loyal and loving people anyone could know.
