In 1971, Charlene moved to Wichita Falls with her parents, Juan and Betty Guerrero, and her ten siblings: Debbie, Linda, (twin) Marlene, Robyn, Robert, Mike, Ronnie and wife Tammy, Ritchie and wife Janet, Randy, and Johnny. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Guerrero.
Wichita Falls is where Charlene met her husband of 42 years, Ismael Arredondo. Together, they raised three children: Thomas, Staci, and Sean.
Charlene found her greatest joy in time spent with family, especially her grandchildren—Sammy, Levi, Mariah, Savannah, and Kallista—who were her pride and joy. She valued family gatherings and cherished being together for holidays, particularly when the game “left, right, center” came out and laughter filled the room.
She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of fresh air outdoors and looked forward to her weekly trips to the casino, where luck often seemed to be on her side. Saturday mornings were reserved for breakfast at IHOP—made even sweeter by the fact that it was often funded by her casino winnings.
Charlene will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew and loved her.
