He is survived by his wife Edna and two Children; Leslie Stephen Hooton of Fort Worth, TX and daughter Robbin Boeneke of Clinton, LA., 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Charles was born in Hamburg, Iowa with three siblings. His mother's name was Bertha who has preceded him in death and his father Charles A. who has also passed.
When he graduated high school he went right into the Air Force where he spent 26 years and retired as a MSGT. From there he went into public jobs, he worked for the city of Wichita Falls for 15 years and also the base (SAFB) for 7 years before retiring completely. His hobbies were leather, boating and his Gold Wing cycle that he road for many years.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2 PM at Crestview Memorial Park at 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
