Cindy Day

Cindy was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Gene Ferguson and Pat Harmon. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1972. She married Bobby Day on May 26, 1973, and was a devoted housewife. Together, they had one son, Jeff, in 1982. Cindy was blessed with one grandchild, Ethan, and she was a loving sister to four sweet sisters: Donna Smith, Terri Doyle and Charles, Debbie Thurman and Eddie, and Kathy LaPlante and Don. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her father and one grandson, Layne.

Cindy was a talented seamstress and enjoyed scrapbooking and square dancing. She was actively involved in her community as a member of the Christian Women's Club, Meals on Wheels, The Swinging Stars, Senior Junior Women's Forum, and the Wednesday Kitchen Crew at Faith Baptist Church.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Rolling Meadows and Beyond Faith Hospice for their special care in Cindy's final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, located at 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, on November 20, 2025, at 10:00 am with a catered reception to follow.
