Daniel Garcia

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 10 am, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302.

Daniel was born on July 22, 1950 in Wichita Falls, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Julia Garcia and his sister Margaret Castillo.

He is survived by his life companion, Juanita Contreras of Irving, TX; brothers, David Garcia (wife Diane); Alfred Garcia (wife Gloria) and Richard Garcia, all of Wichita Falls; sisters, Hope Cruz and Anita Sosa, both of Ft. Worth, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his early age, Danny worked many jobs before deciding to join the USMC where he served for 2 years. After returning home, he decided to move to Waco, TX to attend Texas State Technical College where he earned his HVAC License.

Danny enjoyed working on the yard, fixing things around the house, watching the Dallas Cowboys, grilling out his favorite steak, going for daily rides to Walmart to people watch. His biggest joy was to sit outside listening to his Country and Tejano music with his little Chihuahua Pit Bull.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Stella and Helen, members of the Twilight Hospice team for the loving care that they gave to Danny and the entire family. Their kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
