With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darline Smith, a devoted Christian mother whose life was a testament to love, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She left this world on January 11, 2025, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Born on August 31, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Darline was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every joy and challenge with grace and humility.
Darline was the cherished mother of three wonderful children: Mike, Mark, and Mandy. Her love for her children knew no bounds, and she dedicated her life to nurturing their spirits, minds, and hearts. She taught them the values of faith, integrity, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Her home was a place of warmth and hospitality, where friends and family were always welcomed with open arms and a loving smile. She was known for her generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and offering words of comfort and encouragement to all.
In addition to her role as a mother, Darline was a beloved friend, confidante, and mentor to many. Her wisdom and gentle guidance touched countless lives, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Darline is survived by her children, Mike and Mandy, her five grandchildren, Keith, Brittni, Cassie, Joshua, and Emily, her brother Doug, and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of Darline’s life will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
We find comfort in knowing that Darline is now in the arms of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her spirit will continue to guide us, her love will forever surround us, and her legacy will inspire us to live our lives with the same devotion and love that she exemplified.
