Dava Lynn Whatley Klotz, 60, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 with her family at her side. Born and raised in Wichita Falls, she built a beautiful life surrounded by the people she loved most.
Dava worked at Spa Bella, where her kindness, confidence, and genuine spirit made everyone feel special. She had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for, and she filled every room with warmth and laughter.
She loved to travel and experience new adventures, but she always found her greatest joy in the comfort of home — where she could relax, reflect, and spend time with those closest to her. Dava was loving, friendly and caring — beautiful inside and out. She was someone you could turn to for encouragement, laughter, or a comforting word, and she gave her heart fully to the people she loved. Everyone who ever met her remembered her — for her radiant smile, her comforting presence, and the way she made each person feel valued and loved.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Byron Klotz; her beloved stepdaughter Kylie Klotz, her treasured daughter Victoria Grace Eckert and son-in-law Robert; her loving parents, David and Jackie Whatley; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Alicia Whatley, who both loved her dearly. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren and many friends, who were truly like family to her.
A celebration of Dava’s life will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, TX on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Her love and light will live on in all who knew her.
