David Baker

He was born on March 16, 1955 to his parents J.O. Baker and Dorothy Maroney in Amarillo Texas. David was a best friend, loving father, and Grandfather. David loved being surrounded by family and friends, reminiscing about the glory days and high school football. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Jo Mersino, Shirley Ann Hawkins, Karen F. Baker; brothers Charles Ray Baker and Richard Baker.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Shana Baker, David Mitchell Baker, Angelina Baker, Ethan Baker; Grandchildren Sydney McCain, Ryan McCain, McKenna McCain; nephews Charles Baker, Allen Antepara; nieces Andrea Castro, Lisa Mead, Mercy Pearl, Jennifer Long, Shelley Forrestal, and Aleesha Gonzales; Life long best friends John Armstrong, Bill Nesbitt and Neil Nesbitt.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302, followed by a chapel funeral service at 2:00 PM.
