Dina Redmon

Dina enjoyed teaching and taught 8th grade English for 39 years, mostly in Bartlesville, OK and McNiel Jr. High in Wichita Falls, TX. She earned her Master’s in Education from Oklahoma State University in 1995. Dina was the 2006-2007 Wichita Falls ISD and Region 9 Secondary Teacher of the Year.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J Redmon, Jr, of Wichita Falls, TX, her son, Robert J. Redmon III, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her sister Audrey Bee (Don) of Wichita Falls, TX; and brother Arthur Lange (Dana) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Dina was an Avid reader and emphasized reading and writing workshops in her teaching. She was a runner and ran several miles a day for over 40 years and more recently walked or rode her bicycle daily. Dina was a prolific quilter and showed her creativity in her beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Red River Quilters’ Guild and was famous for her purple bargello quilts. Her quilts won many ribbons in the quild’s annual quilt show.

There will be no formal service for Dina. The family requests her friends join in a virtual memorial on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10 A.M. Join for individual reflection on Dina and the joys she brought into everyone’s life.
