Donald R. Seaton

Donald was born on November 7, 1933, in Quanah, Texas, to Lelia and Barney Seaton. He married Betty Spruill on September 5, 1953 and they went on to be married for 68 years. He was a husband, dad and after grandkids and great grandkids, he was known as Papa. Donald retired from Taystee Bread after 28 years and later worked for August Pie Co. and North Texas State Hospital and retired as a truck driver. Earlier in life, Donald enjoyed taking family camping trips and vacations, yardwork and tinkering in his shop.

Survivors include, wife, Betty, son, Barry Seaton and wife, Lisa of Wichita Falls, daughter, Carla Mayo and husband, Tommy John of Bellevue and Kim Burkhart and husband, Jeff of Wichita Falls, sister, Lou Stephens and husband, Dwayne of Eustace, Texas and brother-in-law, Don Spruill of Vernon, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park, under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Tommy John Mayo will be officiating.
