Donald W. White

Donald William White, 80, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2014 in Crestview Memorial Park, Garden of the Cross, with military honors rendered by the U. S. Air Force Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:00 Sunday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Mr. White was born October 7, 1934 in Gettysburg, PA to the late George and Margie (Starry) White. He married Patricia A. Foreman on February 27, 1954 in Gettysburg. Donald served in the U. S. Air for 21 years and was stationed in seven different states plus Guam, Turkey and Viet Nam. He retired in 1978 as a Master Sargent. He then went to work for Sears in Wichita Falls in the Service Department and retired there in 1997 after almost 20 years.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald White and Earl White.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia; two sisters, Nancy Hartzel of Cashtown, PA and Janet Stuff of Akron, PA; eleven nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and God-daughter Barbara Wienhold.

The family suggests memorials in Don’s name be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., Wichita Falls, TX 76310. Thank you Kiki and Stephanie.
