Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Eddie was born on March 12, 1941 in McAllen, Texas. He married Emily Ojeda in Wichita Falls on June 18, 1960. They were married for 57 years. He owned and operated Mandela Construction for 12 years. He loved time with his family. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife: Emily Mandela of Wichita Falls; children: Eddie A. Mandela and wife Esther, Jeffrey A. Mandela, Sandra G. Brom and husband Roger, Jerry W. Mandela, and Charles, M. Mandela and wife Valerie; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
