Edward Ed C Schumann

Edward C. “Ed” Schumann, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Gonzales, Pastor, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Ed was born August 7, 1942 in Vernon, Texas to Charlie William Schumann, Jr. and Evelyn (Koenig) Schumann. He was a veteran who served in the US Navy. He retired after 26 years of service from Certainteed and was an avid outdoorsman. He is preceded in death by his father.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Bev (Hodge) Schumann of Wichita Falls; mother, Evelyn (Koenig) Schumann; son, Charles Schumann and his wife, Karen of Kamay, TX; daughter, Charlotte Polone and husband, Phil of Whitesboro, TX; son, Craig Schumann and wife, Pam of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Brian Schumann and wife, Misty; daughter, Krystal Bobbitt and husband, Josh; brother, Larry Schumann of Fort Worth; three grandsons, Shayne Schumann, Zachary Hill, and Colby Collier; five granddaughters, Brittany Schumann, Taylor Schumann, Kori Schumann, Mackenzie Bobbitt and Madison Bobbitt; one great grandson, Dakota Schumann and one great granddaughter, Marley Hill.
