

Elizabeth (Licha) Arredondo was born January 7, 1942 to Fernando S. Garcia, Sr. and Magdalena Revera Garcia. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1960 when it was the only high school in town. She graduated with her high school diploma and her cosmetology license.
Rudolph and Licha were married August 15, 1964 and traveled the world while Rudoph was in the Army. She would often say she had joined the military too because it affected both their lives. After retirement from the military, they chose to return home. Licha’s father, Rev. Fernando Garcia Sr. was the founder of the Pentecostal Church where she was a lifetime member and she held her pastoral license. Throughout her work career, she worked at various companies including Schott’s Mens Manufacturing Company, Certainteed and Stanley-Proto Industrial Work where she earned a college degree and retired early. She showed her love to everyone by cooking her favorite dishes, such as an Indonesian dish Bomme and loved decorating for party events for family and friends.
Licha is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Arredondo and brother: Bobby Garcia. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rudy, her parents: her brothers: Ezekiel Fernado, Jr. and Henry; and sisters: Mary Davis and Lidia Garcia. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Wichita Falls, United Regional Health Care and Rehabilitation for all of the angels that took care of Elizabeth.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2025 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
