Evelyn Ella Zinni, 88, of Wichita Falls passed away peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4605 Cypress, with Pastor Dale Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Zinni was born September 21, 1926 in Vernon, TX to the late Oswald and Ella (Schoppa) Zoch. She married Anthony Zinni, Jr. August 22, 1947 in Vernon, TX and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a resident of Wichita for 60 years and was a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church here.
Also preceding her in death were two sons; Michael Zinni in 2014 and Thomas Zinni in 1977; four sisters, Alice Baker, Gertrude Cayce, Liz Bryant and Madelyn Knippa.
Survivors include a son, Edward Zinni and Beverly of Wichita Falls; a sister, Lillian Smith; two brothers, Milton Zoch and Roger Zoch; grandchildren, Brandon Zinni and Heather of Wichita Falls and Heather Zinni and Sandra of Denver, CO; great grandchildren, Hunter, Caleb, Tara, Brandon, Jr., Leah and Braden.
