Garland G. Lile

Garland George Lile passed away May 17, 2015. A Memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 10am at Calvary Baptist Church. Pastors Danny Hodgkins of Calvary Baptist Church and Craig Lile of Faith Baptist Church will officiate.

Garland was a very hard working man. Whether it was selling ice cream on his bicycle when he was young, to owning his owning his own body shop as an adult, he loved working with his hands. In the 60s he decided to try his hand at homesteading. Garland moved to Alaska, where he staked his claim and built his own cabin.

Garland is preceded in death by: Parents Garland & Berniece Lile; Leonita Parton sister; Iva Mae Measley sister; Norma McNeely sister; Bertie Pyatt daughter; and Janet Lile daughter-in-law.

He is survived by Wife Ann Lile, Son Billy Lile of Oklahoma, Daughter Melanie Hill & husband Richard of Oklahoma, Son Craig Lile and wife Robin of Wichita Falls, Daughter Sandra Durham & husband Rick of Minnesota, Son Thomas Ketcher of Wichita Falls, Daughter Donna Knudslien and husband Mark of Hillsboro, Daughter Darla Littleton of Hillsboro, Brothers: Milton Lile of Wichita Falls; Bobby Lile of Wichita Falls

Sisters: Lura Durham of Minnesota; Betty Lile of Burkburnett

Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
