George W. Howell, 88, of Wichita Falls passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Reverend Harvey McMurry officiating.
Mr. Howell was born June 15, 1926 in Chicago, IL to George W. Howell, Sr. and Angeline (Ponz) Howell. He married Clara L. Price on October 13, 1976. George served his country for over 22 years in both the Navy and the Air Force.
Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Jamie Robin Howell. He is survived by his wife Clara of Wichita Falls; two of three daughters from a previous marriage, Sandi Radnovick and Terri Howell both of Albuquerque, NM; two step children, Connie Turner of Pampa, TX and Mitchell Lively of Childress, TX; two grandchildren, Jeremy Lively of Groesbeck, TX and Jessica Dansby of Hillsboro, TX; also six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., 76310.
