Geraldine M Russell

Geraldine Marie Russell, AKA Granny Candy 81, closed her eyes for the last time. Wednesday, April15, 2015 at Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas. A graveside service celebrating her life is scheduled for 10am Saturday, April18, 2015 at Crestview Memorial Park in the lovely Garden of Inspiration. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughn Funeral Home.

Geraldine entered this world on November 11, 1933 in Gassaway, West Virginia to the late Kinney and Clara Scott. Geraldine loved fishing and helping run the farm with her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Some of Geraldine's favorite things to do involve watching her Dallas Cowboys play football, cheering on Dale Jr while watching him race NASCAR. Granny Candy loved being around her family she enjoyed bingo beating the Vegas crew in rummikub or a casual game of cards with her kids. Geraldine loved to celebrate anything that brought her family together..

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, her loving son David Russell and her 8 siblings

She is survived by her loving daughters Sue Callahan, and Mary Grieb, and always loving daughter-in -law Tina Russell, her eight grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, and her two great-great grandchildren.
