Gertrud K. Osborn

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mausoleum at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Osborn was born February 23, 1934 in Amberg, Germany to Karl and Leni (Bruckner) Zutter. She met and married her late husband, Harold P. Osborn on March 17, 1961. The family moved to Wichita Falls in April 1966. She worked at the Child Development Center at Sheppard Air Force Base where she retired after 34 years. She will be missed.

Gertrud is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold and one brother, Karl Zutter.

She is survived by three daughters, Marlene Osborn and Peggy Beck both of Wichita Falls and Stephanie Blackwell and her husband Dennis of Oklahoma City. Two sons, Duke Osborn and his wife Cathy and Robert Osborn and his wife Rosalinda all of Wichita Falls. Three sisters, Friedel Nolan of Colorado Springs, Helga and Inge Zutter of Landstuhl, Germany. Seven grandchildren, Crystal Osborn Woodhouse of Gulfport, MS, Richard Osborn of Wichita Falls, Bryan Osborn and his wife Alison of McKinney, Travis Osborn of Austin, Ryan Beck of Wichita Falls, Kellen Osborn of Wichita Falls and Tyler Blackwell of Oklahoma City. She also is survived by three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Tre Woodhouse and Lily Osborn and many numerous friends. She will be missed. “Mom we love you so much”.
