Jack W. Connell Jr.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 4 - 6 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park.

Jack was born on October 21, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jack W. and Mary Louise Thornton Connell. He lived in the area most of his life and he enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, cars and drag racing. He served 2 terms in the Texas House of Representatives and was the youngest to be elected to that office at the age of 21. He grew up in Wichita Falls and then moved to Burkburnett. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving companion: Kim Richardson of Burkburnett; sons: Michael Connell and wife Margo of Guthrie, Oklahoma, David Connell and wife Shelly of Roanoke, Texas, and Stuart Connell and wife Kim of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren: Carter Connell, Kaleen Ezelle, Logan Connell, Kyle Connell, Paul Connell, and Andrew Connell; and 4 great-grandchildren.
