Visitation will be held on Monday March 4, 2024 from 6-7 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Gilpin was born April 25, 1941 to Troy and Evelyn (Deuberry) Gilpin. He was the Circulation Director at Times Record News in Wichita Falls. He loved gardening. He had a huge garden and would share his produce with everyone. He loved his four legged furry friends (his dogs). When he was able he loved to go to the lake, boating and skiing with the family.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Gilpin; 3 children, Beverly Cathey and husband Jerry, Troy Lynn Eckelbarger and husband Joe, and Keith Gilpin and wife Leanne; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; special cousin Cindy Conner; 2 special nieces.
Preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Mark Gilpin, Jon Gilpin and granddaughter Sheree.
