Jackie C. Jarnagin, aged 79, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2026. Born on January 6, 1947, in Littlefield, Texas, Jackie was a beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and aunt, known for her loving nature, independent spirit, and firm beliefs.
Jackie spent her early career as a hairdresser in Colorado before moving into roles that reflected her artistic talents, including positions as a floral designer at Griffin Flowers and Accent Blossom Shop, and as a sales clerk at Big Girls Apparel. Her passion for arts and crafts extended into her personal life, where she excelled in crafting, cooking, and baking. Jackie celebrated holidays and birthdays with enthusiasm and loved making these occasions special with her artistic flair.
She is survived by her daughter, Shauna Arnett; granddaughter, Pam Jarnagin; sister, Patricia Cobb; brother, Mike Jarnagin; and devoted nieces, Donna Cobb, Michelle DeWoody, and Renae Dickens. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, FA Jarnagin; mother, Oleta Peek Jarnagin; brother, Francis "Buddy" Jarnagin; and uncle, Fred Peek.
The services to honor Jackie's life will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas, on September 28, 2026, at 1pm. Jackie's life and legacy will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
