"Miss Myers" was my second grade teacher at Harrell Elementary in 1958. She was such a kind lady, and I enjoyed being in her class so much. She was my favorite teacher of all time. I last saw her in 1969 just after she had gotten married. She was as sweet and radiant as ever and so interested in what I was doing with my life. I know she lived a full and happy life and was so loved. Thank you, sweet lady.

Jean was a terrific lady. Growing up next door to her family was a blessing; a great babysitter when I was a wee child; Jean learning to drive up and down the driveway with me as a toddler in the back seat; a role model as she began her teaching career; getting to teach a few years with her at Harrell Elementary; continuing being a part of her family life as she raised two terrific young ladies, Julia and Jana. RIP, Jean Myers Tucker!

Jana and  Julia and family,  I just want not to give you all my  condolences. So saddened  by your moms passing,  I know she is okay and pain free now with the angels  and the good lord.  It was a pleasure  to help out your  mom out when she needed me. She will be missed dearly ..may God bless  you!!
