Jimmie Ray Bruce

Graveside Services will be at Devol Cemetery, Saturday August 31, at 11:00 am directed by Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.

Jimmie was born August 8,1940, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Virgil and Mary (Gordon) Bruce of Vera Texas. He joined the United States Navy in 1957-1963, where he was a Damage Controlman/Firefighter on the Navy Aircraft Carriers. Jimmie attended Midwestern University, where he studied Civil Engineering . He excelled in the Construction Industry for over 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Gail (Bruce) Gray Also brothers, Walter and Teddy Gann.

Survivors include his four children: His daughter, Debi Doty and son-in-law, Gary Doty of Devol, OK. Also son, Jerry Bruce and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bruce, of Greenville, Tx, and son Tim Bruce and daughter-in-law Cindy Bruce of Anna, TX. Another daughter, Rubi (Bruce) Kirkland and son-in-law Doyce Kirkland of Keller Tx. Also 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
