An angel has been welcomed into heaven. How fortunate for those of us who knew & loved her. She had the most loving heart, beautiful smile and generous spirit. My deepest sympathy to Charles & family. May you find comfort in knowing the many lives she touched in such a positive way.

I am missing you already sweet friend. I wish I had known the young woman in your picture. I wish I had lived closer. I wish we had more time to spend together. I wish we had come to see you this past year. I wish I could see your sweet face just one more time. I think of all the people who love you and how much they will miss you, but then I think of all the memories you have left for us. My prayers are with Charles, and family during this time. May God give you peace to comfort you. All our love, Rena and Raymond.

Jo Ann Bentley "had that smile" that you would never forget. You knew she loved her family and loved her Lord and Savior. Sending many prayers to Charles, Phyllis, Chuck, and Johnny and your whole family. Jo Ann is now with her loved ones in Heaven and especially hugging her sweet daughter Cindy. I remember fond memories of the Bentley's in Iowa Park. Especially the night Mrs. Bentley had to call my mom after midnight when I hadn't come home from going to the fireworks display at SAFB for July 4th, 1974 with the Youth Group of the Baptist Church. We weren't doing any thing wrong!! Simply sharing the Gospel of Jesus with folks sitting on the lawn on base. We were blessed with parents who cared enough that we develop a relationship with Jesus. "Teach them in the ways that they should go...." Welcome home Mrs. Bentley.

One of my favorite Red Hat sisters. Met her at the events in WF and found her so charming. Her smile was beautiful and she welcomed everyone. She will be missed

We had the pleasure of knowing Jo Ann from our years at Colonial. Recently, visited with her and Charles while she was at The Gables and roommate with my mom. Charles we extend our deepest sympathy to your family and may God bless you. You were such a loving caregiver to her. Janet and David Reynolds

While I never had the pleasure of meeting JoAnn in person, we did have some lovely phone conversations. I am the lucky recipient of one of her rings, and of course, it came at the perfect time when I was isolated from the world, and bed bound. Even more surprising is the fact that it fit my chubby fingers!

My condolences to the Bentley family, Red Hatting lost one of our angels, but Heaven surely gained one.
