Joann was born August 30, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA to James and Joan (Burns) McLaughlin. July 3, 1976 she married Raymond Lee Gearhart in Philadelphia, PA. She worked at the commissary at Sheppard Air Force Base. She loved her quiet home life with her husband.
Mrs. Gearhart is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Ray Gearhart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Timothy McDonald of Chesapeake, VA, and Barbara Ann and Dave Bader of Elizabeth City, NC.
If desired, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
