Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
He was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on August 7, 1934 to Jose Manuel Guerrero and Ingnacia (Lira) Guerrero. He had one brother: Arturo Guerrero and six sisters: Rebecca Hector, Maria Pompey, Carmen Ackley, Refugia Taylor, Juana Rial, and Guadalupe Hull all living in Michigan. He later moved to Michigan and met his loving wife Betty (Gillen) Guerrero. They were married for 64 years and had 11 children including five daughters: Debbie, Linda, and Marlene Guerrero, Charlene and husband Ismael Arredondo and Roberta and husband Curtis Ramsey; six sons: Mike, Ronnie and wife Tammey, Robert, Richie, Randy and Johnny Guerrero; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
He moved back to Texas in 1971 retiring from Delphi (General Motors) in 1997. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a devoted member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a kind and big heart and always accepted anyone into his family. He always enjoyed attending all of his family's events. He love bowling and building things for others. He loved his trips to the casino with his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
