Aunt Nellie was my sponsor and I loved her dearly. I regret that we didn't have as much contact after my daughter died. I really missed her phone calls. She was a sweet and loving lady.. I am sorry that I will not be able to be at her funeral due to serious health issues. May God bless and comfort her family

Love

Aunt Nellie was a very kind and loving person. She helped me a lot when my Mom and Dad passed away. She would always call. I will miss her deeply and all our phone calls. I love you Aunt Nellie!

We are so sorry we cannot attend services. One of my favorite memories is going to Aunt Nellie's and spending the night. Sometimes several in a row. One of those times was the first time I ever had a make at home snow cone. Have many wonderful memories of times at her house. Love and prayers to all. Lon and Carrie Munsey

Now there is only Anna Marie and my mom left from that group.

My mom, Ellen "Dodie" MacDonald, only living child of Nellie's Uncle Henry Raschke, is happy that Nellie can join Charlie and their daughter and suffer no more pain. Dodie was 6 months older than Nellie. Before the Henry Raschke family moved to Illinois, the Henry and Otto Raschke families would get together on a regular basis.

One of the memories Nellie and Dodie shared with me: when they were little -- to make sure it didn't sound like they were being selfish -- they would go to their parents and Dodie would say, "Nellie wants crackers," and Nellie would say "Dodie wants cheese." Don't know how well it worked, but they did it on a regular basis.

My mom and I are sorry we cannot come out and represent the Henry Raschke family. Mom is bed-ridden and can't sit in a wheelchair long without passing out. However, we will be there in spirit.

Our thoughts are with the family to heal and our memories will bring us smiles.

My mom is glad she was able to come out a couple of times the past few years and visit before neither one could get around anymore.
