

Kathleen was born in Orlando, Florida on Jan 8th, 1944, to William and Alice Hodges. She grew up in Kalamazoo Michigan. She Graduated at Nazareth Academy Catholic school for girls in 1962. Kathleen joined the Navy to become an Air traffic controller. She was stationed in Millington Tennessee where she met Billy McClellan. In 1964 she married Billy.
Kathleen interests were as vibrant as her personality. She had a flair for fashion and a love for music. She sang in the Leigh Valley Sweet Adeline for 10 years while living in Easton Pa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 30 years in Wichita falls. She was also a member of Newcomers and Red Hats society to name a few. She loved to travel with family and friends. She loved to care for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends’ children.
Kathleen’s passing leaves a void in their hearts of those that knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Kathleen is survived by three sons, Guy McClellan & wife Melissa of Fort Myers FL, Kevin McClellan of Wichita falls, TX, Karl McClellan & wife Mellissa of McKinney, TX, one daughter Kimberly Sauers & husband Todd of Berryville, VA.
Grandchildren Kara Suchy, Kathleen Talcott, Kayla Talcott, Caleb McClellan, Maddison McClellan, Cabot McClellan, Lleyton McClellan, Conner Sauers, Garrett Sauers, Hudson Sauers and four great grandchildren.
Kathleen is the eldest of ten children and is survived by Colleen Simpson, Patrick Hodges, Maureen Markillie, Darleen Greenert, Eileen Sonnad, Michael Hodges, Janeen Sonnad, Mathew Hodges, Laureen Urey and thirty-five nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Bill McClellan, daughter Deirdre B. McCafferty, son Kirk McClellan and daughter Roberta Talcott.
A celebration of life will be held on June 12th, 2026, at 2:00pm at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Hwy Wichita falls, Texas 76302.
Directly following the Celebration of Life, the family would like for everyone to join them for a meal in the reception room at Hampton Vaughan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls Texas.
