

Grace Haynes, 90, of Wichita Falls died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at a local nursing home. A graveside service has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Electra officiated by Brant Stubblefield, directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Grace was born January 23, 1920 in Corsicana, TX to Huebert Frank and Della Mae Masters Collins. She married Paul Davis Haynes in 1939 and together they raised two children. She was a Star Route rural mail carrier in Electra for a number of years. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Electra and then Loop 11 Church of Christ once she moved to Wichita Falls. Grace was a member of a local bridge club. She loved to travel, traveling to Europe, the Far East, and most of the United States. She also loved to sew and crochet.
Mrs. Haynes is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Paul Haynes in 2005; and brother, Frank Collins.
Survivors include her devoted children, Lynda Russell of Lindsay, OK and Tim Haynes of Breckenridge, TX; grandchildren, Jim, Billy, Leslie, John Paul, Amber, Jimmy, Nikki, Kelli; ten great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
