

born on October 19, 1926 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Carl and Nell Wrigley.
As a teenager, Marge’s family relocated to San Antonio, Texas, where she attended St.
Mary’s Catholic School. It was in San Antonio that she met Foster T. Secord, a young
airman stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. The two married on January 31, 1951,
beginning a life of love, service and adventure together.
Marge and Foster’s life in the military took them across the United States and around the
world, including several memorable years in Japan and Morocco. Along the way, they
welcomed two sons, John and Troy, who brought them immense pride, joy and
restlessness.
After years of service, both Marge and Foster retired at Sheppard Air Force Base, continuing
their dedication to public service through long careers in Civil Service. In retirement, they
remained active in their community through the National Active and Retired Federal
Employees (NARFE) organization, holding several leadership roles. Marge was also an
active member of the “Ladies of the Shrine”, supporting Foster in his involvement with the
local Shriners.
Marge was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Foster, and her parents, Carl and
Nell Wrigley. She is survived by her sons, John Secord, his wife Kathy, and Troy Secord, his
wife Jeani, grandchildren, Jason Secord, his wife Bethany, and Susan Secord Richardson,
her husband Phillip, great grandchildren, William Richardson and Peyton Secord.
Marge will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and enduring commitment to her
family, faith, and country. There will be a remembrance viewing at Hampton Vaughan
Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a private graveside service at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, please remember Hospice of Wichita Falls that gave her great comfort in
her final days.
