Memorial service will be held 2 PM Wednesday March 16, 2022 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel.
Mattie was born March 25, 1933 in Seymour, TX to Pud and Pauline Dickerson. She retired from Hydra Hose in Wichita Kansas. She was a member of the Garden Club in Iowa Park. She loved flowers and all things gardening. Mattie was a great cook and loved her cats.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Jimmy Tate, and John Tate and wife Cynthia; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Bill Dickerson, Orlan Dickerson, and Pete Kyle; son, Perry Tate.
