Michael Delph, 74, a native and longtime resident of Wichita Falls, TX, passed away, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Flower Mound, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home, Roger Deerinwater officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation is set for 5:00 until 7:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Delph was born October 10, 1940 in Wichita Falls. He served in the U. S. Navy. He married Charlotte Boyd in 1965 in Wichita Falls and she preceded him in death in 2000. Michael was a resident of Lakeside City for 23 years and was owner and operator of Mike’s Mini Mart in Lakeside for 15 years. Upon retirement from there, he moved to Lake Fork in East Texas for the next 10 years until moving to Flower Mound two years ago to be near family. Michael loved fishing and hunting.
Survivors are his children, Sean Delph of Plano, TX and Erica Delph and son-in-law Andy of Flower Mound, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Makenna Delph and Brody Delph.
