

Michael Triggs, a devoted resident of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on August 23, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Michael was the beloved son of Kelso and Wilma Triggs. He graduated from Hirschi High School in 1976, marking the beginning of a life characterized by bravery, patience, wisdom, and gentleness.
Michael began his career at Burlington Northern Railroad and retired from the James V Allred Unit as a Correctional Officer after almost 20 years of dedicated service. His career was a testament to his hard-working, honest, and thoughtful nature. He was known for his resilience and generosity, always pushing others to go further in life and doing whatever he could for someone else.
Michael and his beloved wife, Terri, shared a wonderful life of 36 years together. Their union was blessed with four children: Kenyon, Alandria, Kellen, and Anthony. Michael was a devoted and faithful husband and father, always putting his family first.
His personal interests included a passion for the Texas Longhorns, coaching and raising kids, and cooking. His humorous spirit and love for life left a lasting legacy on all who knew him.
Michael is survived by one sister, Linda Plummer, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Fresenius Kidney Care North Texas, Solaris Hospice, and all healthcare providers who cared for Michael in his time of need. Michael's thoughtful and generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
