He married Anna Mae Huffaker in April 1972.
He worked for Walker Neer Mfg. and retired from United Regional Healthcare System.
He was retired from the Army and Texas Army National Guard.
He was very proud of his granddaughter Melis and great grandsons Will and Logan. Thrilled to finally have boys to take fishing. He loved country music, chicken fried steak and his hero was John Wayne.
Some of the best times of his life were:
Breakfast with his daughter, large family cookouts with siblings, nieces, nephews and
coffee at McDonalds with the guys. He had a love for fishing. Every time he told a fishing story the fish got larger. Hanging out at Larry’s Marine Center shooting the breeze and telling tall tales. I heard that! This was my dad.
He is survived by his daughter Sherri Sinclair, granddaughter Melissa Hansard husband Tyler,
great grandsons Will and Logan Hansard, sister Gussie Cannedy. Also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Donations may be made to Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation or the Wichita Falls Humane Society.
