Nancy was born on March 29, 1936, to Martha and Oscar Yeich in Schuylkill Haven,
Pennsylvania. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Russell D. Fritz in Orwigsburg,
Pennsylvania. From their union came four children: David, Richard, and twins Lorna and
Robbin.
Russell was active-duty U.S. Air Force and together they lived as a fulfilled military family.
Together they had many remarkable experiences and travelled to places such as Panama Canal
Zone and Japan. Upon his retirement, they made Wichita Falls, TX their permanent home.
Along with her love of flower and herb gardening, some of Nancy’s many hobbies included crafting, reading, and “working” in a good adult coloring book.
What Nancy enjoyed more than anything was spending time with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren. Her grandchildren affectionately nicknamed her “G-Ma”. Nancy leaves with them many treasured memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents Martha and Oscar Yeich, her beloved husband, retired
USAF Master Sergeant, Russell D. Fritz and her two sons, David (infant) and Richard Fritz.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter Lorna Fritz-Mills and husband Scott of Oklahoma City,
OK. Daughter Robbin Fritz-Smith and husband Keith of Iowa Park, TX. Special sister-in-law,
friend, and confidant Sandy Fritz-Littau of Statesville, NC. Grandchildren Vanessa and Valencia
Fritz of Lubbock, TX, Brandon Smith of Emory, TX, and Garrett and Grady Mills of Oklahoma
City, OK. Additionally, Nancy is survived by two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home in
Wichita Falls, TX. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on December 17, 2022, at
Crestview Cemetery.
