

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating.
Naoma was born March 25, 1933, to Ira and Pearl Vestal in Marlow, Oklahoma where she grew up with her 10 brothers and sisters. She married Donald Turpin on September 2, 1950. Naoma worked as a waitress and seamstress before opening her own ceramics shop in Wichita Falls till the late 80's. Then she became the co-owner of Busy Body Day Care where she touched the lives of many children and their families until her retirement. Together, Don and Naoma loved traveling and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and the lake. She also enjoyed reading and playing games such as cards and dominos. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Turpin; son, Danny Turpin, as well as all her brothers and sisters.
Naoma is survived by her son Gary Turpin and wife Becky, daughter Sterlyn Carter, all of Wichita Falls; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Advanced Rehab and Healthcare of Wichita Falls as well as the caregivers with Hospice of Wichita Falls for their kind and loving support during her years there.
