Olivia “Ann” Holt Conner, 82, of Wichita Falls, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior, and her husband Curtis on April 1,2017 with her family by her side. Her life celebration will be Friday April 7th at 2:00 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home, with Pastor Reggie Coe of Grace Church officiating. A private family burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
Ann was born in Tyler, Texas, to the late Edward G. Holt and Olivia Welch Holt on August 1, 1934. She spent her youth in Tyler, Alabama, Mississippi, and moved to Wichita Falls in 1950.
In 1955, Ann married lifetime partner Curtis Conner. Together, they enjoyed entertaining, traveling and spending time with family.
Ann was fond of spending time outdoors; working in her yard, and going for walks with Rudy, her furry companion. She and Curtis spent summers traveling in their motor home, taking their grandsons on trips across the United States. She was our family strength, a guiding light, a pink warrior and a fighter until the end. She was also a loyal and loving caregiver to her husband Curtis to the end of his life. Our Mom, our Grand-Mommy, will be dearly missed, until we see her again.
Along with her parents, and brother Garland Holt, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis and their son David.
She is survived by son, Dean Conner, daughter, Dana Peterson, son-in-law, Jeff, brother Johnny Holt, spouse Linda, grandsons Jared Vinson, spouse Jenna, Wesley Vinson, spouse Courtnie and great grandson Easton Vinson.
The family wishes to thank Mom’s special caregiver Ann Keep, and also the doctors and nurses of Hospice and House of Hope for their never-ending support. And a special thank you to Pastor Reggie Coe for the loving care he provides our spirits.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or House of Hope.
