Visitation will be held 6-7 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday August 23, 2023 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Powell was born June 9, 1922 in Platter, OK to Henry and Mary (Mosley) Smith. She was married to Wayne Powell and part owner of Young’s Cleaners.
Survivors include, two daughters, Sharon Primm and husband Don, and Lisa Lovelady and husband Monty; grandchildren, Kim Hughes and husband Grady, Teresa Cobbs and husband Ronnie, and Kasey Chreene; great grandchildren, Heather Brown and husband Brent, Lissa Kennedy and wife Veronica, Jack Hughes and wife Alice, Tommy Spears and wife Tiffany; 12 great-great-grandchildren; her dearest friend, Dorothy Mikeal.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Wayne Powell; brother, Earl Smith; sister, Erma Lee Amos.
